Hoshin Kanri and the X-Matrix
Loosely translated from Japanese, Hoshin means “direction needle” and Kanri means “control logic”. In short, “controlling direction” or more simply recognized, “policy deployment”. If your organization, department, or project have suffered from a lack of direction or cohesion in meeting top level objectives then learning the concepts of Hoshin Kanri might be the answer you’ve been waiting for. In this session Chris will familiarize participants with the concepts of Hosin Kanri and introduce the X-matrix, a simple tool used to sustain focus at all levels of the organization or project.
