Description: Standard Aero’s 3-day ”Facilitating Lean Events” course teaches your people how to facilitate Kaizens and other Continuous Process Improvement events. This course goes beyond the definition of fundamental Lean principles and tools. The course will provide all the practical and tactical skills required to guide your colleagues to Lean Solutions.

Upon completion of this 3-day program, participants will be able to plan and facilitate Kaizens and other Continuous Process Improvement events, implement the changes and sustain the improvements.

This includes:

Scoping, Preparing, and Managing Lean Events
Improving Communication and Team Dynamics
Using Data as the Primary Driver of Operational Improvements
Building Visual Process Maps
Finding Non-Value Added Processes
Striving for Zero Defects
Achieving Pull & Flow
Implementing 5-S and Visual Workplace Management
Guiding Teams using Facilitation Skills

Normal cost for this three-day event is $1500 per person.  Standard Aero is offering it to our membership for $100 per person for all three days.  In order to allow for all of the businesses in our section to take advantage of this offer, only one person per company may attend (unless the class doesn’t fill).  All three days include continental breakfast, snacks, beverages, and lunch.  The location for the event has not yet been determined. 

This event earns you 3 RU’s.
